FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE YOUR CLASSES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?

Yes! Our classes are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. We work in small classes with a 1-2-1 feel, I modify our classes to suit the group. Beginners will feel supported and more advanced clients will have options throughout the classes to challenge themselves.​

 

Our mat classes are suitable for all levels. Monday & Wednesday are more focused on re-setting body alignment, core and stretching, Thursday & Sunday are slightly more powerful classes.

​

Any reformer class is suitable apart from the classes labelled as “Reformer Progression” which are faster paced and advised for clients that have practiced at least 5 classes previously, or have relevant experience on the Reformer. 

We only have 3 people per reformer class so it’s very 1-2-1 feel and a great way to get to grips with the reformers for the first time.

WHAT SHALL I BRING / WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

Wear something you feel comfortable in, you should be able to move freely and stretch. Something tighter fitting so we can see your form and to protect against anything getting caught on the equipment.

 

For Reformer, Pilates grip socks if you have them, but normal socks are fine, I have sticky pads available to borrow. Not bare feet. No foundations, oils, moisturisers or perfume on face or body as it leaves marks on the reformer leather.

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Mats are provided.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I ARRIVE

After booking your first session online, you will receive 2 emails; One to confirm your booking and payment, and another with detailed information on where to park, when to arrive, a health form and more details about the class.

(+ 1 more email if you bought a plan to confirm your purchase)

HOW TO FIND US

The address is Harri Pilates, Hale Park SP6 2RF. Please note that 'Hale Park' is an area and will not take you to the house.

We are located in the beautiful Hale Park stately home. Follow the long tree lined drive towards the house - ignore private drive sign, the track is a little bumpy so take care.

​

PARKING

Parking is available behind the wing to the left of the house (as you look at the house from the drive). It is a private home so please do not park in front of the house main drive and our entrance is at the side of the house, not the front door.

​

STUDIO ENTRANCE

From the car park behind the wing, walk through the archway in the wall into the gardens, follow the path to the stairs hidden in the wisteria that take you up to the house, turn left and go through the French windows.

​

You can take a seat in the waiting area before your class begins.

Please aim to arrive just 5 minutes early.

​

TOILETS

We have bathrooms where you can get changed next to the parking area in the wing. The big white door with 'ladies and gents' sign.​

ARE YOUR CLASSES SUITABLE FOR PREGNANCY?

Yes we can arrange classes suitable for pregnancy but please get in touch with Harri to discuss more and find a suitable class. Group classes might not be suitable without prior discussion / 1-2-1 if needed / previous experience.

HOW TO BOOK

The best way to book is online or on the app - 'fit by wix'.

You can either book a block of classes at a discounted rate, which will be saved on your account to be redeemed when booking.

MAT: x6 classes / x12 classes - must be used in 6/12 weeks

Reformer: x3 introduction deal / x5 classes / x10 classes - no time limit

Or you can choose drop in pay as you at the check out.​​

HOW TO BOOK CLASSES WITH A PLAN:
1. Select plan you wish to purchase
2. Create an account, use a memorable email & password
3. Book into classes by redeeming the plan you purchased

Tips:
Make sure you are logged in with the same account you purchased the payment plan with when you go to book classes.
You can reschedule up to 3 days before a class on the website.
