Emma Dearden
STOTT Trained Pilates Instructor
At the age of 16, Emma left her hometown of Salisbury to pursue a career in dance. Over the years she has built an impressive and varied career. Emma’s years in the professional dance industry have shaped her meticulous attention to detail, musicality, and strong understanding of the body in motion. Like many dancers, she developed a deep appreciation for precision, alignment, and controlled, purposeful movement, qualities that naturally led her toward Pilates.
Her dancer’s eye for technique and flow informs every class she teaches, with a focus on quality over quantity and thoughtful, intentional movement patterns.
Since getting married last September, Emma has begun an exciting new chapter in the world of Pilates. After completing comprehensive training in STOTT Reformer techniques, she now brings her performance background into a more mindful, client-focused setting. Emma is passionate about creating classes that reflect the grace and discipline of dance while maintaining the core principles of Pilates: control, breath, alignment, and balance.
Her sessions are designed to embody a calm, welcoming environment where clients feel supported and encouraged to move with awareness and confidence. With a strong emphasis on precision and gentle progression, Emma helps clients build strength, improve posture, feel more connected to their bodies and more in tune with their movement.
Emma is excited to continue growing in this field and to share the transformative benefits of Pilates with others through her thoughtful, detail-driven teaching style.
